Why Sam?

Because in emergencies, it's particularly important to help quickly and easily!

Sam is a digital marketplace for civilian aid organisations, where aid goods and services can be centrally coordinated. Additionally, Sam enables direct communication channels outside of messenger services within a network of trusted contacts, so that help arrives quickly and is needs-oriented where it is required.

Resource-saving
and swift action

Clear processing
in a central location

Exchange with
trusted contacts

And this is how it's done:

Trust among community organisations is particularly important to Sam, as we want to enable the safe and needs-based exchange of aid for emergencies with a clear conscience.

That's why all organisations and members must be invited to Sam through the recommendation of others. More information on this and answers to further questions can be found in the FAQ.

The team behind it

Behind Sam is the association Sam – share and manage e.V., which aims to drive forward the digitalisation of civilian aid organisations, thereby simplifying and supporting the work of active members. A team of project coordinators and programmers is continuously working on the concept and implementation to adapt Sam as best as possible to the needs of helpers – and thus also to the needs of the people who require assistance.
